Julie Vordenbaum brings
twelve years
of coaching volleyball to the program. She
is currently the Varsity
Volleyball Coach for Prestonwood Christian
Academy and
coaches for
VICTORY's 14 and Under

team. She began her career in her hometown
of Wichita Falls, TX where she coached 14s
for three years with the Red River
Volleyball Club.
Then, her senior year of college, she took a
break from club and started a volleyball
program that provided quality coaching for
kids that were interested in improving their
skills, but for various reasons did not
compete in club.
After moving to Dallas in 1999 following
graduation, she coached the 16’s for Coppell
Classic. Following that she coached for
three years with the Victory volleyball
Club. In her second year with Victory, her
team (13 National) won a bid to nationals.
She has also conducted various team camps,
summer academies and private lessons.
During the summer of 2006 she provided 83+
hours of private instruction to athletes in
the north Dallas area. Julie is IMAPCT
certified as well as USA CAP I certified.
She is finishing up her USAV CAP II
certification. In August 2006, she
completed the Gold Medal Squared clinic led
by Carl McGown. Julie is a member of the
USAV, Kids Sports Network, and AVCA.
Tony
Vordenbaum
is entering his seventh year of coaching
volleyball. He has
coached a
USAV men’s
BB team as
well as girls club. He currently
coaches for
Victory Volleyball Club
as the head coach of the 15 Elite Team. Tony
has also coached
the elite teams in the 12s,
13s, and 16s-18s age divisions.
He is in his fifth year
with Victory, and has qualified for the Junior Olympic
Volleyball Championships
in each of the last five years . Highlights include qualifying in
the JOs 17 Open Division, 3rd place finish
in the 15’s American Division, and 1st place
16’s Club at the Northeast Qualifier. He
conducts various team camps, summer
academies and private lessons.
Tony played volleyball for the Texas A&M
Men’s Volleyball Club as a setter. As the
Captain of the Corps of Cadets Volleyball
Team, he led them to two University
Volleyball Championships. Tony continues to
seek out training and improve his ability to
coach volleyball. He
has completed his USA Volleyball CAP
II
certification, and
is certified under
the USAV Volleyball Conditioning
Specialist Program. He is a
member of the AVCA, USAV, Kids Sports
Network, and attends the Gold
Medal Squared clinic led by Carl McGown and
Doug Beal annually.
His fulfillment and fervor for coaching
young athletes comes from helping them to
develop and reach their full potential.
Heidi
Mullins has been the
Varsity Coach at Canyon Creek Christian
Academy for several years. She coached
for Team PSA for the last
two years as the Head Coach of 15
and 14 Black.
She took the 15 Black team to the
Gold Bracket at the Lone Star Classic
National Qualifier Tournament
in 2006. She is a great
fundamentals coach and has a talent of
drawing everything possible out of an
athlete. She and her husband are the
proud parents of Kylie.
CONGRATULATIONS to Heidi! Her CCCA
Cougars won the 2007 TAAPS 4A State Title!
