Platinum Volleyball Solutions Platinum Volleyball Solutions is committed to providing quality instruction to volleyball athletes of all ages. Co-founded by the husband and wife team of Julie and Tony Vordenbaum. Both Tony and Julie are coaches at VICTORY Volleyball Club. PVS is a non-profit organization that offers recruiting services, private instruction, team camps, skills / position academies, and volleyball specific conditioning programs. PVS, a leader in helping area athletes grow and develop their volleyball skills and careers, does this through high level coaching, professionalism, loyalty, and a dedication to excellence.
Julie Vordenbaum brings fourteen years of coaching volleyball to the program. She currently coaches for VICTORY's 13 and Under Elite club team. She began her career in her hometown of Wichita Falls, TX where she coached 14s for three years with the Red River Volleyball Club. Then, her senior year of college, she took a break from club and started a volleyball program that provided quality coaching for kids that were interested in improving their skills, but for various reasons did not compete in club. After moving to Dallas in 1999 following graduation, she coached the 16’s for Coppell Classic. Following that she coached for Victory volleyball Club and is currently the assistant director. She has qualified for nationals the last 4 of 6 years. She has also conducted various team camps, summer academies and private lessons. During this past summer she provided 120+ hours of private instruction to athletes in the north Dallas area. Julie is IMAPCT certified as well as USA CAP I certified. She is finishing up her USAV CAP II certification. In August 2006 and 2007, she completed the Gold Medal Squared clinic led by Carl McGown. In the summer of 2009 she completed the AVCA coaches training at BYU in Utah. Julie is a member of the USAV, Kids Sports Network, and AVCA.
He has qualified 8 teams in the past 8 years to the Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships. Tony served as the Physical Conditioning/Testing Coordinator, as the 15-18 Age Group Coordinator, and has been involved with Victory Academy and GetzFit programs. Other highlights include the 17s bid to the Open Division, 16’s 1st place at the Northeast Qualifier, 15's 3rd place finish in the American Division at the JOs, and the 13s qualifying for JO's during his first year with Victory. Tony played volleyball for the Texas A&M Men's Volleyball Team as the starting setter. As the Captain of the Corps of Cadets Volleyball Team, he led them to two University Volleyball Championships. Upon graduation Tony eventually settled back in the North Dallas area. Tony continues to seek out training and improve his ability to coach volleyball. He has completed his USA Volleyball CAP II certification, and is certified under the USAV Volleyball Conditioning Specialist Program (VCAP / VCS). He is a member of the AVCA, USAV, Kids Sports Network, and attends the Gold Medal Squared clinic led by Carl McGown and Doug Beal annually. His fulfillment and fervor for coaching young athletes comes from helping them to develop and reach their full potential.
Heidi Mullins has been the Varsity Coach at Canyon Creek Christian Academy for several years. Heidi currently coaches the 13 Select team at Victory. She coached for Team PSA for the last two years as the Head Coach of 15 and 14 Black. She took the 15 Black team to the Gold Bracket at the Lone Star Classic National Qualifier Tournament in 2006. She is a great fundamentals coach and has a talent of drawing everything possible out of an athlete. She and her husband are the proud parents of Kylie.
